Every Kenshi Life Changing Candle directly helps fund the scholarships offered by the club.
The Victorian Wakeful Club provides two scholarships and a bursary annually to dedicated young women who excel within their chosen study fields.
The Club is looking forward to the continuation of these scholarships and bursary to help promote the further education of young women in the thoroughbred and racing industries. As a not for profit Club, these initiatives are financed through donations and the fundraising efforts of our club members. The Victorian Wakeful Club hopes to be able to provide further support within the industry in the near future.
Support Our Scholarship Programs
The Club was established in 2001 by a group of like-minded women to encourage the networking and participation of women throughout all facets of the thoroughbred industry and was so named to honour the famous race mare Wakeful.
Members come from all facets of the racing industry including Breeders, Racehorse Owners and Administrators.
